About Yala
Yala National Park is the largest national park in Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean. The park is divided into three parts: the Northern Block, Central Block and Southern Block. South Yala is mostly open to the public, while North Yala is usually only opened for researchers. It also consists of several adjoining parks. It’s best known for its variety of wildlife.
